Lindal Cedar - aka "The Pink House"
Before this cabin was a Lindal Cedar office then the Regina information center. After that it was moved out to Grandview beach. Originally it was coated with a beautiful clear varithane or urethane to magnify and show the natural beauty of the wood. Then someone had the bright idea to go over it with a solid brown oil based stain a few times then a reddish pink solid stain a few times over that making a mess no one wanted to fix.

Lindal Cedar Stripping Process
This needed two separate stripping processes to ensure there was no damage to the cedar.
Lindal Cedar Clean
All stripped down to new wood. 2 applicatiins of Chemical stripper scraping wet abrasive blasting scraping presure washing brightening and mold and fungus remover. Many steps to get it to this point.
